Saturday (August 17): Do Dah Party!

Hmm, I wonder what kind of trouble we can get into today!

Then it was time for the Do Dah party.  I know the whole weekend is a party, but this was the real deal.  We had a tent and even a band.  Here I am dancing with my godfather Colin.

Friday (August 16): Boat Ride

 

I was still pretty tired, so I slept in.  Mommy let me lay with her in a grown up bed.  All that space is nice!

 

Now I like sleeping on my side and my belly, check it out.

 

I spent the morning playing with everyone, but Andie was my favorite.

 

Then that afternoon I went for my first boat ride!

 

It was a lot of fun.

 

But I'm still not sure about this life jacket thing.

 

There were so many things to look at.

 

So I tried really hard to stay awake!

Thursday (August 15): Resting Up

Last night was a long night, we drove all the way to Maine.

 

But it was definitely worth it to get to see all of our friends.  We were all pretty tired, so I took a snooze on the dock in my new life jacket.

 

And then another one on the boat.  Hopefully we'll get to go for a real ride soon!

Sunday (August 11): Hanging at Home

We had a chance to relax at home this weekend.

 

 

First, I helped Daddy with some work on the computer.

 

We had a lot of fun!

 

Then I played with my giraffe.

 

 

Wait, you mean I'm not supposed to eat this?!?

Saturday (August 10): Climbing

Good thing she's patient!  I think she's actually starting to like me!!

 

 

Friday (August 9): Sweet Potato

 

This week I got to try my second real food, sweet potatoes.

 

Here comes the first bite....

 

This stuff is pretty good!

 

I think I dropped a bit on the bib...

Wednesday (August 7): Getting Ready

 

We're going to the lake in Maine next week, so Mommy and Daddy ordered me a life jacket so I was ready to go out on the Party Barge. It came in the mail today so of course I had to try it on.

 

Sydney thought it was pretty interesting. Mommy says she's afraid of the water so she needs one too!
