Monday (May 20): Two Months Old Today

So of course it was time for more pictures...

Look how well I can sit up!

 

Mommy finally caught a smile.  Now the bigger challenge is to catch me holding still!

 

And it also meant another trip to the doctor.  Mommy and Daddy thought I'd be 10 pounds but I didn't quite make it.  But that's okay because I grew a lot since last month.  Today I was 22 inches long and 9 pounds, 14 ounces. 

 

When we got home Mommy and Daddy said we had to take more pictures, as if the doctor's office and all those shots wasn't traumatizing enough...

 

But I decided to cooperate...it seems to go faster that way...so hi everyone!

 

I love you all!!!

 

 

 

Sunday (May 19): A Day at Home

It was a rainy day, so we decided to spend the day at home.

 

I helped Daddy out with the vacuuming...

 

It was kind of noisy, so of course I fell asleep.

 

Then Daddy put together my new toy.

 

It seemed kind of strange at first.

 

But I think I kind of like it.  Thanks Great Aunt Cindy and Great Uncle Don!

 

Thursday (May 16): I Protest!

I know Mommy is really excited about all my new outfits, but are socks really necessary??

 

 

I don't like socks...

 

Maybe Sydney will sit on top of it and Mommy won't find it...

 

If I just kick a little harder, I can get rid of this one too!

 

Wednesday (May 8) - Tuesday (May 14): Big Trip

Hi Everyone!  Sorry its been a while but we took a big road trip to Georgia!  It was a long time in the car but Mommy and Daddy drove at night time so I slept the whole time.  It seemed like a good deal to me, go to sleep and wake up in a brand new place...but Mommy and Daddy looked a little tired.  And they didn't get much of a break, we had lots to do in Georgia!

 

Here I am on Friday, showing off my new outfit to Aunt Mimi.

On Saturday morning we went to the temple that Mommy grew up in so I could be named by the Rabbi.  Who knew I needed more names...Jackson Edward is hard enough to remember!  My Hebrew names are after my Great-grandpa Eric and Great-grandpa Melvin.  It sounds like I have some pretty big shoes to fill, but I'm always up for a challenge.  Then on Saturday night, we had a big party at Nana's.  I got to meet all of her friends, which was a lot of fun.

 

 

Then Sunday was Mother's Day.  It was awesome, I got to have brunch with Mommy, Nana, Grandma, and Great-grandma Ruth!!!

 

Of course, Mommy thought it was a great excuse for more pictures...

 

But I showed them :)

 

 

On Monday, we relaxed before the big drive home.

 

And I got in some last cuddles with Aunt Rachel.

 

 

 

On Tuesday when we got home, we were pretty tired so we spent the day at home.  Look how big I'm getting...I finally fit into 0-3 month clothes!  Which is great because Nana's friend gave us a TON of new clothes.  Mommy says I have enough outfits to last for a month...that sounds an awful lot like a challenge to me!

Saturday (May 4): Playtime

And reaching for them, sometimes I actually manage to grab them!

And Mommy says its hard to get pictures of smiles :)

 

 

And we finally got to go on a manly shopping trip to Men's Warehouse...but to tell you the truth I think any kind of shopping is no fun!

Friday (May 3): Story Time

Today Mommy and I went to infant story time at the library.  And for once, I did NOT fall asleep!  We sang songs and read stories.  All the other kids were a lot bigger than me, but I had fun watching everyone.

 

I'm still working really hard at holding my head up.

 

And I'm definitely getting better!

 

But it is really hard work and sometimes I just need a break!

Wednesday (May 1): 6 Weeks Old Today

 

Sorry everyone, Mommy just realized that she didn't finalize the post she made on Sunday.  So she just fixed that and added lots of extras to today's post.  Hopefully that will make up for it!

 

 

My 6 week birthday was another very busy day.  I went to the beach for the first time with Mommy and Aunt KC and her girls.

 

 

And as usual, I slept.  But that's good because it was kind of cold and Daddy would have been grumpy if he missed a beach trip that I was awake for.

 

 

I spent more time hanging out with KC's girls, Lily and Maddie. 

They are lots of fun and I can't wait until I'm big enough that we can play together.

I guess we'll have to settle for laying around...

Of course when we got home, Mommy said we had to take my 6 week old pictures. You would have thought she'd had enough before, but I guess not.

I've been doing more smiling too.  Mommy gets mad though, cause I never do it when she has the camera out.  So I threw her a bone and let her catch a little one.
