Sunday (April 7): More Tummy Time

Saturday (April 6): More Goodbyes

 

Today was another sad day, Nana and Pop and my aunts  had to go home.  It was so great to spend time getting to know them.  It will definitely be boring around here with just Mommy and Daddy for entertainment.  Hopefully I will get to see them all again soon.

 

 

I spent the afternoon watching sports with Daddy and Sydney.  Well, Daddy was watching sports, seems like Sydney was watching me.

 

 

Then tonight I had my first bottle! It was a little weird at first and we made a bit of a mess but we'll keep practicing.

Friday (April 5): A Picnic in the Park

 

I had a great day today.  It was my first trip to Wegmans, which is Mommy and Daddy's favorite grocery store. 

 

 

Everyone got lunch there and then we had a picnic at Valley Forge National Park.  Mommy said that is a very special place because that's where Daddy asked her to marry him.

 

 

Then when we got home, my cousins and great aunt and uncle all came over for a bbq. 

 

 

I was upset that I couldn't go outside and grill with all of the big boys.  But I got to cuddle with my aunt instead, so I was happy.

Wednesday (April 3): Two Weeks Old Today

 

 

I am two weeks old today!!  And it was a very busy day.  I went with Mommy and Nana to a doctor's appointment.  I was really glad it wasn't my turn!  The doctor said that Mommy is doing well.  Then we went and met her friends from work for some yogurt.  Everyone was really nice.

 

 

 

Then we came home and rested up because my aunts were on their way to see me!!!  It was really exciting to finally meet them.

 

 

I've been practicing my tummy time a lot, I can lift my head up and turn it from side to side.  They say I'm an overachiever...apparently I'm not supposed to do that until I'm three weeks old.

Tuesday (April 2): Growing Big and Strong

 

I went back to the doctor today so we could see how big I'm getting.  It wasn't as bad as last time.  And we got great news, I gained 5 ounces since last week!! Now I weigh 7 pounds and 7 ounces.  After that, Mommy and Nana and I took a trip to the mall.  I didn't really like looking at clothes, but I did like riding around in my stroller.

 

 

It seemed like I had lots of girl time, so I was happy when Daddy finally got home from work.  I really miss him when he's away all day.

Monday (April 1): Bye Daddy

Today was a sad day, Daddy had to go back to work.  But he brought me home a cool new bib from his friend, so I guess I forgive him.

Sunday (March 31): Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!!!  I hope you all had a great holiday!

 

 

It was another good day here.  Mommy and Daddy gave me another bath, they seem to be getting the hang of it now.

 

 

Then Daddy tried out this new thing to get rid of my boogies.  It seemed pretty gross, but I guess it worked.

 

 

After all that, I was pretty tired, so Mommy and Daddy and I had a quiet night at home while Nana and Pop went to visit some of my cousins for Easter.
