Friday (March 20): The Big #2

 

So today started out with a new piece of furniture in my playroom.

 

I immediately put it to good use while starting to play with my other gifts.

 

I am actually having a hard time remembering what all the gifts I got for my birthday were...

 

But I do know that I got this awesome shirt!

 

Mommy even let me have a birthday cake Oreo!

 

Oh yeah, I am a frosting licker.

 

Then it was time for photos with the 24 month tie.

 

Can you believe I did this for 24 straight months!!!

 

I was getting bored while going through all of these pictures,

so I started to read some of my birthday cards.

 

This is my shocked look (not sure what it was about, but there it is).

 

Next were the obligatory pictures with Sydney.

 

I am pretty sure she likes me.

 

Then it was back to Stanley for a few more.

 

Daddy said that since I am 2 I can start helping him with grilling,

but I would have to read through this book first.

 

Luckily it has a lot of pictures.

 

Then it was time for a selfie.

 

So by this point, I was pretty much done with pictures.

 

So Mommy and Daddy busted out another present, this time one from Grandma and Grandpa.

 

I went around in circles several times on my new bike.

 

Then we took it outside to really try it out.

 

Then it was cake time!!!

 

And yes, it was a blue airplane cake, just like I requested.

 

Do I look happy or what!?!?

 

And the tail was rice crispie treats, totally awesome!

 

I was so nice, I even shared some with my friend Kristen.

Thursday (March 19): Getting Ready for the Big #2

So I told Mommy and Daddy that I wanted a blue airplane cake for my birthday...and this is how it came together over a couple of hours on a Thursday day night.

 

Step 1: getting all the materials ready to make a plane.

 

Step 2: find something big enough to hold the plane

(Mommy came up with the great idea of using the lid from my water table)

 

Step 3-??: you get the idea...

 

Daddy of course found an excuse to use the brulee torch.

I think they did a pretty good job for their first time making something like this!!

Wednesday (March 18): Pots and Cake

So the other day, Mommy said sitting in a pan wasn't the right way to do things.

 

 

So instead I found a pot.

 

And this is my feeling if you said I am not supposed to be using this as a seat.

 

Tonight we also started on the first steps to making my blue plane cake.

 

I love to help bake things...maybe I can make my own cake next year!

 

Mmmmm this is already looking delicious!

Monday (March 16): Am I Doing This Wrong?

 

So Mommy says this is not a proper chair.

 

 

And Daddy claims that this is not a small pool...

After Daddy picked me up from school, I was thirsty, so I asked for some of his water.

 

 

And then he started taking pictures.

So I walked to the other room.
