Saturday (March 22): PARTY

Today was my birthday party!  And of course that means pictures...lots and LOTS of pictures

Aunt Colby made me a really cool present, its a chalkboard with all sorts of fun stuff about me!

Check out my cool birthday sign

Aunt Andie and Aunt Rachel drove in for the weekend just so they could come to my party, what a great surprise!!

I showed my friend Mayah my new kitchen.  She thought it was pretty cool too.

Before I knew it, Mommy and Daddy brought out TWO cakes.  I don't know why we needed two, there weren't that many people here...

But I didn't have much time to wonder because everybody started singing and that was fun.

And then I got my answer when Mommy gave me a whole cake...I couldn't believe it...is this whole thing really just for me?!?

At first, I didn't even know what to do

But I figured it out pretty quickly

It felt really squishy

So I thought I'd try stepping on it too.

Of course the next thing to do was taste it...and it was delicious!

I love frosting :)

I liked it so much, I thought I should share it with Sydney

She really liked it too :)

Things got pretty slippery

Good thing Mommy was around to help out

Sydney thought she'd help out with the clean-up

I thought that was really nice of her, but Mommy and Daddy said she had ulterior motives

But there were too many leftovers even for Sydney

More of the aftermath

After I got cleaned up, Daddy and Aunt Andie let me have a few bites of cake.

It was a great day!  I was so glad everyone could come over and celebrate with me!!!

Thursday (March 20): HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

I knew this meant lots of pictures, but I had no idea how far Mommy and Daddy would take it...

Here's my birthday present...a new kitchen!  Sydney and I spent all morning checking it out!

When Daddy got home, it was time for pictures...

They could only catch me in mid-stand, I'm too quick for them!

And I definitely didn't want to sit still with Stanley

They were super fast on this one, but only because Mommy tricked me.  She's up there making funny faces.

Hooray, we are almost done!

I'm outta here guys, its time for dinner.

Mommy said we could go once we showed off my birthday shirt

"I'm this many!"

Finally, pictures were done and we got to go to birthday dinner.  And I got my favorite, French fries!

When we got home it was time for cupcakes!

Mommy used another one of my favorite foods, peanut butter, in the frosting.

It smells familiar, but it looks a little weird.  I'd better check it out first.

I don't know about this one guys...

Sydney definitely wants a taste :)

Happy Birthday to Me!!!  Congratulations Mommy and Daddy, we survived a year :)

Bonus Footage Saturday (March 8): My First Haircut

Sorry everyone, Mommy and Daddy were so excited to post the pictures of our night out that they forgot the pictures from earlier that day and they were pretty important ones...it was my first haircut.  So here you go!

We started out in a car for the hair cut.

Let's just say that didn't work out so well...

So instead I took a seat on Mommy's lap and we watched some Sesame Street.

There was so much going on around the shop that I just wanted to look around and watch everyone.

It took me a little while but I think I got the hang of this hair cut thing.

All better!

Tuesday (March 18): Goodbye

Today we had to leave to go home, I was sad to say goodbye, especially to my new friend Talie

I hope we can visit again soon!

Monday (March 17): The Great Outdoors

Today we went hiking

It was so nice to be outside in the sun!

There was so much to look at!

I got tired of riding, so Mommy let me down to play.

After all that work, it was time for some lunch

Give me that spoon Mommy...

I've got this!

Then Mommy wanted to take some pictures to show off my St. Patrick's Day outfit.  I decided to throw her a bone and show off my standing too

The girls wanted in on the picture taking action

We couldn't leave out baby Talie

Try getting four kids under the age of 5 to pose for a picture...

It seems like its impossible

But I've got to give it to them, they are persistent!
