Friday (September 20): 6 Months Old Today!!!!

I know its hard to believe, but I'm six months old today!  I knew that meant pictures, but I had no idea how far Mommy and Daddy would take it.

First I had to put on my onesie with that silly tie.  First they had me laying...

Then sitting....

AND then standing!

Then they made me sit with my bear Stanley again.

I provided my own editorial comment on all of the pictures by blowing raspberries.

Then they HAD to take videos of my newest trick.

But that wasn't even enough.  Mommy and Daddy decided that every year we would celebrate everyone's half birthdays.

So for my HALF Birthday she baked me a HALF pumpkin cake.

Here comes the cake!

I've been waiting my whole life for this moment!

What a let down...I wasn't happy at all...I wanted CHOCOLATE!

Thursday (September 19): E-A-G-L-E-S

Its game day so we decided to break out my Eagles jersey.

And of course I had to have my football too...

Too bad they ended up loosing, but at least I looked cute!

Sunday (September 15): School Spirit Part 3

Before Aunt Rachel left, I had to show off my Georgia gear.

Everyone thought the football butt was particularly cute.

Since I'm getting so big, Mommy and Daddy decided it was time to let me start trying to feed myself.  So for dinner, they gave me some chunks of acorn squash which is one of my favorites.

It tastes familiar, but why isn't it mushy?!?

Maybe they are on to something here...

Saturday (September 14): To the Market!

Aunt Andie decided Aunt Rachel shouldn't get to have all the fun, so she decided to come spend the weekend with us. We all went downtown to the Reading Terminal Market.

This is a Pumple Cake. Yes, that's a pumpkin pie baked into a chocolate cake and an apple pie baked into a vanilla cake. One word: Awesome. Got my fork and I'm ready to dig in!

Today must have been my lucky day, because Mommy actually let me have a piece. Apparently pumpkin is a close cousin of sweet potato. Who cares what their logic was, it was delicious.

Don't worry, I had some help finishing it off.

When we got back home, Daddy decided it was time to build things. I decided it was time to eat more things. Too bad it wasn't pumpkin flavored.

So I decided it would be more fun to knock over Daddy's tower. Guess he'll have to build me another one.

Wednesday (September 11): Ready for Fall

Nana got me a new raincoat. Now I'm ready for fall. As an added bonus, it even matches my binky!

Monday (September 9): School Picture Day

It was picture day at school. Even though I wasn't going to school this week because Aunt Rachel came to visit. Mommy still woke me up and took me to school. And then when we got home, surprise surprise, she took more pictures.

Sydney really liked my new outfit.

What are these things and where did my toes go!?

This was the best that I let her take. (Don't worry, I smiled for the REAL photographer).

Please make them stop!!

Saturday (September 7): My Big Trip to the Big Apple

I got invited to my friend Harvey's birthday party in New York. Mommy and Daddy thought that would be a great opportunity to go visit my GG and cousins.

Mommy left my sweet potato at home so I got to try bananas. I don't know what Mommy is complaining about, they are really good!

Relaxing with my cousin Maddie.

And reading with my cousin Allie.

We drove into the city and then it was party time. Aunt MB and Aunt KC won the prize for farthest travel, they came all the way from Wisconsin and Colorado. I was so happy to see them!

Harvey's Mommy asked some musicians to come and play for us.

I thought it was great!

Really really great!!! Mommy and Daddy better find something fun for my birthday.

They even brought bubbles!

And pom poms! They were really neat.

But all that dancing tired me out. I didn't even stay awake for the cake :-(

It was a good thing I got a nap, because after the party we went out for dinner with GG and my cousins.

We had such a good time and can't wait to visit again!

Wednesday (September 4): School Spirit Part Deux

We decided to show off my Northeastern gear today. Apparently our timing was perfect since it was the first day of class, GO HUSKIES!

Tuesday (September 3): Playing with Blocks

Well, not really playing with the blocks.  I like playing with the package better.

Its lots of fun to roll on.

And roll off!

Horary!  Let's do it again!!!

I don't think Sydney was as excited as I was about the blocks...

Monday (September 2): Captain Jax

I thought bath time was great before, now Mommy and Daddy got me some bath toys and its even more fun!

Check out my new boat!

I may not know much, but I don't think boats are supposed to do that.

Hmm, how do I do that???

I love my new toy....

This is so much fun!
